About me
Menna lives in Merthyr County with her wife, Katherine, and their cat, Mefi. Menna has always enjoyed working with people and getting to know what makes them tick. Having previously worked in the care industry, Menna decided to take a leap of faith and support families in a different way – through her work as a celebrant. Menna is a Welsh speaker and can offer services in Welsh, English or bilingually across South East Wales. She is looking forward to helping you create services that reflect your values.
Why choose a celebrant?
Traditional weddings and funerals in Wales can be restrictive: religious or secular with little room to manoeuvre. This doesn’t reflect the majority of people living in Wales today. Choosing a celebrant to conduct your service means that you can have something that truly reflects who you are. Spiritual elements can be mixed in to your service, or not. It affords you the opportunity to combine cultures, include personal anecdotes, favourite poems…anything to authentically express who you are. A celebrant’s job is to tell your story the way you want it told.
